We talk to a lot of people at the moment who feel very anxious, scared and out of control with what’s happening. If you’re on the spiritual path or new to it then this is the time to up our own spiritual practices….more than ever we need to keep our light shining.
We’ve all read books, watched videos, listened to podcasts so now’s the time to into practice….if you can’t go outside then we can spend more time going within.
We often say we don’t have time to meditate, journal, do exercise etc so it’s good to make time for this…even if it’s 5 mins a day…are you willing to do that?
At the beginning of every day I do a 5-10 minute meditation and throughout the day every couple of hours I stop for a minute do some deep breathing and re-connect. I’ve read that it’s better to do short meditations regularly throughout the day than a long one once a day….but do what works for you.
I have my ‘attitude of gratitude’ where I’m grateful for at least one thing every day…it can be people, material things,
I say my affirmations and here are a few to share with you:
- Everything is working out for my Highest Good, I am safe
- Divine Intelligence guides me to handle anything life presents me with
- My mind is calm and centred as I connect with the Power within
When you do this you’ll feel less overwhelmed because you have sustainable, positive momentum to get through this time.
