That might seem like the easy option but unfortunately they don’t go away and just like a pressure cooker the tiniest think will be the tip of the iceberg. It’s ok and important to accept how you’re feeling and we all have those days of not feeling so great and hit with a wave of overwhelm.
When we try and deny those feelings it takes a lot of effort to keep them locked inside, especially when we’re showing the world that we’re strong and maybe trying to support others during this time.
It’s OK not to be OK and be reaching out to others this energy dissolves away. Sometimes we don’t feel comfortable talking to our loved ones but reaching out to a friend for help. At this time we might miss our friends but now we have so many platforms we can connect with others so why not arrange a virtual get together on zoom, skype, whatsapp etc. You can also reach out to any of the trained counsellors at the School of Metaphysics and we use a range of techniques to help you dissolve and handle emotions.
Writing can also be good to release emotions and it’s not for anyone else to see but for us personally. We can take an extra step and burn the piece. We might not be used to expressing our emotions so be gentle with yourselves and do what resonated for you.
